HSMTMTS同劇的男主角 Joshua Bassett在本周五也發行了新單曲《Lie Lie Lie》，
聽到曲目的標題後，許多人推測這是對Olivia 的《drivers license》的回應，
但有粉絲跳出來說，其實 Joshua Bassett在2019年11月時就先讓歌迷們聽這首歌了，
當時他在Instagram上分享了一個唱歌和彈吉他的視頻。(連結)
在發布音樂錄影帶之前，Joshua Bassett在他的Instagram的現實動態中分享歌曲背後的靈感，
Joshua Bassett表示:「我發現那位朋友很久以來一直在我背後撒謊，
所以我寫了《Lie Lie Lie》，令人難過的是，當你認為你可以信任某人的時候，對方反而將你丟下
這事可能發生在我們所有人身上，但我認為你唯一能做的就是尋找會支持你而不是會讓你失望的人。」
雖然 Joshua Bassett表明是「朋友」，但歌詞的內容讓大家對這首歌的普遍假設是...
