繼2019 年底，The Chainsmokers 除了推出第三張專輯也完成了美國的第二次大型巡演,
經過一趟夏威夷的旅程後，靈感創造力大爆發, 因此有了 TCS4 的誕生。
睽違兩年, 終於帶著第四張專輯回歸了,
新釋出的《High》作為此次的主打單曲。
該單曲一釋出, 即衝上 Spotify 的 New Music Friday 播放列表中排名第一。
在新專輯TCS4釋出前, The Chainsmokers就動作頻頻,
除了在Instagram上刪掉過去的貼文，也在Youtube 上傳一段搞笑的影片

唱片公司試圖找新的歌手取代Taggart 和 Pall。
但兩位冒名頂替者想取代The Chainsmokers 依舊是徒勞無功。
MV的結尾是哥倫比亞唱片公司的一位DAN打電話給 Taggart 和 Pall ，
邀請兩人回到工作室製作新專輯，
正式告訴大家 The Chainsmokers 回來了!!!
The Chainsmokers 表示:「這首歌完美地捕捉到了當今人際關係的精神，
為了內心的平靜，我們會為了所愛的人重複說著謊言,
以便有力量繼續我們的關係, 但實際上我們並不快樂。。
因為我們都知道，從不聽勸告的我們，
總會做自己感覺最好的事情，並不斷告訴自己這一次會有所不同。」
雖然這是一首黑暗且有爭議的歌詞，但起碼是一首會讓人【High】的作品。
由Pall 和 Taggart 共同創作及製作了這首《High》，
旋律採用具有流行朋克和嘻哈的風格。
這次的MV使用大量的特效, 從高空一躍而下，
追趕著不愛自己的人。
呼應歌詞欺騙自己快樂，事實卻不快樂的情緒。
很喜歡這首歌的旋律,雖然歌詞有諷刺的意味,
但卻是最貼近現在人的情感狀態。
